End-of-Life Tyres are defined as original or retreaded tyres that are determined to have completed their useful life and are removed from the vehicle, which cannot be used as tyres on the vehicle again, and discarded tyres generated during production.
In Turkey, an average of 300,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres are generated annually from approximately 14 million vehicles. It is possible to generate electricity from these wastes, 10% of which are currently processed, with prolysis-based technologies.

Prolysis-based ELL Recovery and Energy Generation Plant carries out the process of converting end-of-life tyres into new raw materials with high added value by using them as raw materials. Prolysis-based technology contributes to preventing environmental pollution, saving energy, reducing the amount of waste and contributing to the national economy.
