End-of-life tires are defined as the original or retreaded tires that are removed from the vehicle by determining that they have completed their useful life, cannot be used as tires on the vehicle again and are discarded during production.
In Turkey, an average of 300,000 tons of end-of-life tires are generated annually from approximately 14 million vehicles. It is possible to generate electricity from these wastes, 10% of which are currently processed, with pyrolysis-based technologies.
The pyrolysis-based ELL Recovery and Energy Generation Plant transforms end-of-life tires into new raw materials with high added value by using them as raw materials. Pyrolysis-based technology contributes to preventing environmental pollution, saving energy, reducing the amount of waste and contributing to the national economy.
These products are collected and separated by our company throughout Turkey and brought to the economy in our country.
